Well, I finally decided to get rid of Camdyn's pacifier. I was so nervous, but after reading Amy's blog I decided to give it a shot. Last Thursday night, I poked holes in the 2 pacifiers she has left. We keep them up high on her armoire and she only got them at naptime and bedtime. She never even noticed. She could no longer suck the paci's so she would hold them in the side of her mouth.
On Monday she showed me her paci and said "it's broke". I looked at it and she had chewed it until there was not much left! I said "yucky" lets throw it in the trash. She also said "yucky" and threw it in the trash. I decided to take her to toys'r'us and get her a gloworm to replace the paci's. She seemed excited and when we got home she threw away her last paci! She was so excited to go to bed and never complained once about not having the paci.

After I laid her down and left the room I watched the monitor to see what she would do. She kept pushing the gloworm and its face would light up and sing a song. After about 10 min. of doing this she fell fast asleep!!! Whoo Hoo!! She has now gone to bed 2 nights now without the paci!! Now we just have to make sure she does not steal little Crosby's paci!!
and the addiction begins!!!
