The count down is beginning until Camdyn is 1 year old! So we are trying to get her off of her bottle by her 1st birthday. I have been giving Camdyn a sippy since she was 5 months old. She usually drinks water from it and an occasional diluted juice. Knowing what I know now this could have been a mistake..........Camdyn refuses to take her formula from a sippy cup. She literally spits it out of her mouth when she realizes what it is. I have tried this for the past month. Not wanting to starve her I could not bring myself to only allow a sippy since she just spit it out. So, I called her Doctor hoping that she would say that we could go ahead and begin whole milk. Which she did!! We started the milk yesterday morning and Camdyn was skeptical. She first spit out the milk, but with a little more persuasion she began drinking it without spitting it out. She by no means is up to 16 oz, which the Dr. suggested, but we have conquered one day without the bottle!
