The Mangum Family: I don't wanna grow-up!!

Well..maybe we don't want her to grow-up! I cannot believe that she is now 11 months old! Can time really go by that fast? I want my baby back. I find myself wishing her to the next stages in her life, but when she reaches them a sense of sadness comes over me. Next month she will be a year old. Before we know it she is going to put us in a nursing home!

Our little girl is growing up so quickly. She is so close to walking. She takes 3-4 steps with no assistance, while having a huge smile on her face. She eats everything, and I mean everything....onion, peppers, broccoli, zuchinni, squash, fish, mushrooms, etc... She has yet to turn away food! She has not eaten baby food for 3 months now. After I gave her real food she began to spit the baby food out! She is our little "Evil Knievel"! She tries to climb up on everything. I caught her up on-top of the fireplace the other day...stinker. She now says momma, daddy and a snack(a nac). She shakes her head no when we tell her "no" or if she knows she is not supposed to do something! She also tells us she is "all done" using her sign language. She gives kisses when asked and when not asked. She can point to some pictures on command.....a horse, elephant, sun, teddy bear, tractor and some others. She dances to music. I could go on and on. She is doing so much. She hates t.v. and is always on the go. I think we will have our hands full! She is amazing.

Her typical "frown" face. She will frown right after she smiles and then giggle. The best is her frowning at complete strangers and me explaining to them that she just likes to frown!
